It is a gentle laser treatment for stress and mixed urinary incontinence. It causes mild heating of the tissue, which stimulates the formation of new collagen and strengthens the pelvic support, thereby effectively stopping or minimising involuntary urine leakage during physical activity, coughing, or sneezing.
The treatment is most effective in patients with mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence, but it also works well in patients with severe stress urinary incontinence. Stress symptoms are reduced in patients with mixed incontinence.
